Graston Technique® (GT) is a manual technique that uses stainless steel instruments to assist in soft tissue mobilization to improve myofascial pain and scar tissue mobility to increase overall range of motion and function.
The Kinesio® Taping Method is a therapeutic taping technique providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. It is an elastic adhesive and flexible tape than can be worn for days and moves with you to help improve inflammation.
Dry Needling is a therapeutic treatment technique that uses a micro-filament needle into the muscle that contains a trigger point. This will help reduce pain and restore normal muscle length and function. Dry needling can be an effective treatment for acute or chronic pain, sports injury, or maintenance/ preventative care.
Balance is important for all daily tasks such as walking, running and going up/down steps without falling causing injury. Learn about static vs dynamic balance, work on core strengthening, flexibility and fall prevention.
Modalities are used in conjunction with therapeutic exercise to help decrease pain and improve soft tissue dysfunction through Ultrasound, Phonophoresis, Electrical Stimulation, Iontophoresis, Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation, Moist Heat and Cold Packs.
Joint mobilization is a technique used to manually stretch a joint to improve mobility.
Soft Tissue Massage (STM) is a hands-on technique to massage the muscles, ligaments and fascia to help break adhesions, release trigger points, and decrease swelling to optimize your muscle functioning.
Cupping Therapy, which is also known as "Myofascial Decompression," is used for pain
relief and musculoskeletal injuries like strains, sprains, and back injuries. Cupping therapy
uses a suction cup-like tool that creates a negative pressure in which it helps lift and
separate the fascial layers along muscles. This effect enhances blood flow, promotes
lymphatic mobility, and facilitates the reduction of fascial densification. By reducing the
friction between the fascial layers, cupping allows for smoother movement of muscles and
other structures.
